American Sign Language Booklet:

Paper: Recommended - 65 lb, white card stock

The templates documents for this booklet are made to be printed front and back.  Print the first (front) page, turn it over (according to your printer instructions), and print the second template. Cut out each square, and after placing them in the correct order, staple the left side to create a booklet.  Use a hole punch to put a hole in the top.  Note: when cutting out the squares, DO NOT cut along the lines. Leave space on each side. (See the photo example)

 

Belly Button Brush:

Paper: Recommended - 65 lb white card stock
Chenille, striped
Straws, striped

Print and cut out the Belly Button Brush card.  Cut a piece of Chenille 2 inches long. Bend it into a loop and twist the ends together.  Cut a piece of straw 1 ˝ inches long.  Squeeze white glue into one end of the straw. DO NOT USE HOT GLUE!!!  Slide the twisted ends of the Chenille into the glue filled end of the straw. Use white glue or super glue gel to glue the “Brush” to the card.   (Hot glue will melt the straw) 

 

Bolts of Fabric:

Supplies:
Cardboard (best is cut up gift box cardboard)
Various pieces of fabric
Misc Graphics Zip

A. Cut two pieces of cardboard 1 1/4 inches by 3/4 inches each. Cut two pieces of fabric, each different colors and/or patterns, 3 1/4 inches by 2 ˝ inches each.

B.  Fold each piece of fabric in half lengthwise.

C. Using hot glue, glue one end of the fabric to the middle of the back of the piece of cardboard. (Make sure the folded part is at the top, cut edges on the bottom) Then wind the fabric around the cardboard twice so that there are two layers of fabric on the front and the end of the fabric ends up on the back.  You may have to trim the fabric to make sure it ends up in the middle of the back.  Hot glue it down. Do the same to the other piece.  When done the fabric will be wound around the “bolt” with a small section of cardboard showing at the top and the bottom. 

D. Arrange the two bolts so that one is on top of the other with them angled slightly away from each other. Use hot glue to glue them together and add a pin back on the back

Diamond in the Rough:

Paper: Recommended - 24 lb stock, various colors
Charcoal
Roundet Faceted Clear Beads (Diamond)
Size 1.5"x1.5" zip bags

Print and cut out Diamond in the Rough Top Tag.  Place ONE clear bead in the bag.  Pour in a small amount of charcoal (about 10-15 pieces).  Staple the Tag to the top of the bag (there is a space under the word "Rough" to staple)

 

Pieces of A Puzzle:

Paper: Recommended - 24 lb, various colors
Puzzle pieces

Print and cut out the Puzzle insert.  Pick out two puzzle pieces. Glue the pieces to the insert.

 

Quilt in A Bag:

Paper: Recommended - 64 lb in various colors
Fabric, various colors and prints 
˝ wide ribbon
String
White felt

Using template, cut a piece of white felt to a 2x3 size. Cut a piece of string about 12 inches long. (Use template) Cut a piece of ribbon about 12 inches long. Wind it around your fingers.  Holding the middle flat, wind the string around the ribbon.  Cut 6 pieces of fabric 1"x1".  Place the fabric pieces in a zig-zag row from top to bottom on top of the felt.  Place the folded ribbon on the felt.  Slide all of the items into the bag.  Cut out the tag and staple to the top.

 

Rainbow Seeds:

Paper: Recommended - Bright White 65 lb card stock (Xerox)
Size 6 multicolored glass beads 
Size 1.5" x 1.5" zip bags

Print a page of Rainbow Seeds Tags.  Select 6 beads in the rainbow colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and White.  Place “seeds” in bag and staple the Tag to the top. Recommended: Staple between the cloud and the text.

 

Weather Rock:

Paper: Recommended - 24 lb, various colors
Decorative Rocks, approx. 1"-2" diameters
Size 2"x3" zip bag

Weather Rock Insert - WP

Print and cut out the Weather Rock insert. Place it inside the zip bag. Pick a rock and slide it into the bag.
